Refunds & Exchanges:

All ticket sales are final. Regardless of the situation no refunds will be issued. Inclement weather, natural disasters or family and/or medical emergencies are not grounds for a refund. Beginning at the registration sales for the 2026 Zoo-de-Mack, Ride Protect®. This DOES include if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather, natural disasters, or family and/or medical emergencies. Refunds are not offered, but your registration payment is safeguarded and can be transferred to another person or postponed for the following year. Ride Protect® must be purchased during registration, per rider, and is unable to be added at a later time. If ferry tickets were purchased at the time of registration, Ride Protect® must be redeemed by April 30 of the current year for credit, or mailed to you after May 1. For those without ferry tickets, Ride Protect® must be redeemed no later than three days prior to the ride. For more information on Ride Protect®, please visit here. 

Registration may not be exchanged for another event or another person listed on the Zoo-de-Mack website without written consent of the Company. All event personnel have the right to refuse entry to any ticket holder, without a refund, for any reason at their discretion. Anything promised by a third-party promoter that is not listed among deliverables included in the ticket description on the official Zoo-de-Mack website, is not guaranteed by the Company and is not grounds for a refund.

Event Cancellations Due to Unforeseen Circumstances:

Events may be canceled or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond the Company’s control. The Company is not responsible for any loss or damage as a result of substitution, alteration, or cancellation of an event and shall assume no liability whatsoever in the situation that an event is canceled, rescheduled, or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrences or any other circumstance that renders execution of the event as impracticable, illegal or impossible. For purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to: war, fire, labor strike, extreme weather, flooding, power outage, state of emergency, closure or cancellation mandates by local, county or state government, health emergency or other emergency.  Should an event be canceled because of a fortuitous event or Act of God, Zoo-de-Mackinac, Inc. will not issue a refund.

Photography & Video Release:

By purchasing a ticket, registering for, or attending this event, you acknowledge and agree that photographs, video recordings, and other media may be taken during or in connection with the event. You grant the event organizers, sponsors, partners, and affiliates the unrestricted right and permission to use, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, and otherwise exploit your likeness, image, voice, and appearance in any and all promotional, marketing, advertising, or publicity materials, whether now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and without compensation or further notice. This release applies to all media captured before, during, and after the event.

Communications & SMS Consent:

By providing your mobile phone number, purchasing tickets, creating an account, registering for or attending an event, or otherwise interacting with Zoo-de-Mackinac, Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our”, “Company”, “ZDM”, “Zoo-de-Mack”), you expressly consent to receive text messages (SMS and MMS) from Zoo-de-Mackinac, Inc. and its partner companies and our service providers.

Types of Messages:

You agree that we may send you marketing, promotional, transactional, informational, and event-related messages, including reminders, confirmations, alerts, updates, special offers, and other communications related to our events, products, and services.

Message Frequency:

Message frequency varies and may include recurring messages depending on your interaction with us and the programs you choose to participate in.

Message and Data Rates:

Standard message and data rates may apply to any messages sent or received. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.

Opt-Out Instructions:

You may opt out of receiving marketing and promotional text messages at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message we send you. After sending STOP, you will receive a confirmation message, and no further marketing messages will be sent to your number, unless you opt back in. Opting out does not affect your ability to receive necessary transactional or service-related messages (for example, ticketing or event-critical notifications).

Consent and Authorization:

You represent that you are the owner of the mobile phone number you provide to us or have authorization to consent on behalf of the owner. You understand and agree that consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing tickets or any product or service from us.

No Sale of Mobile Data:

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number or SMS consent data with third parties for their own independent marketing purposes. Your mobile number may be shared with trusted service providers solely to support delivery of our messaging program and related business operations.

Privacy Policy:

All personal data collected in connection with our SMS program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By participating in our messaging program, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
