ZDM Ride Protect

For 35 years, Zoo-de-Mack has maintained a non-refundable registration policy. We realize that life or Mother Nature can pretty much send anything our way in mid-May, so we’re excited to offer a new solution: ZDM Ride Protect®. 

How ZDM Ride Protect® Works:

• Registration Fees: 
  • For just $10 per ticket until April 30, 2026 ($15 starting May 1, 2026) you can safeguard your ride registration fees in the event of unforeseen circumstances or inclement weather. 
  • With ZDM Ride Protect®, you’ll receive credit for the registration fee you paid, which can be used for yourself or can be transferred to another person for Zoo-de-Mack 2027. This added flexibility provides peace of mind in case your circumstances change. 
  • ZDM Ride Protect® must be redeemed by Wednesday, May 13, 2026. 
• Ferry Tickets (purchased during registration): The Arnold Ferry tickets for ZDM are valid for the entire 2026 season which ends October 31, 2026.  To secure our group rate, we must finalize ticket purchases by May 1, 2026.
  • If you purchased a ferry ticket during registration, to receive a credit forward for your ferry ticket to 2027 you must submit your request to activate your ZDM Ride Protect® benefit by April 30, 2026.
  • For requests submitted on or after May 1, 2026, your ferry ticket will be mailed to you by June 1, 2026
• Custom Jerseys: Annual ZDM custom jerseys are purchased from Peak 1 sports and shipped directly to purchasers before the event, so if you can’t ride it won’t impact your jersey order. 🙂 

• Event Shirts: Good news! Even if you can’t attend the ride, you can still get your shirt! Event shirts will be mailed between May 22, 2026 – June 13, 2026, for a $9.95 shipping fee, or you may opt to pick them up at one of our Metro Detroit satellite offices by appointment.
